LEARNING A NEW PIECE (excerpt)

1. Become acquainted with the piece

BASIC PRINCIPLES IN LEARNING A NEW PIECE

1. The most important principle in learning the piece is to play faultlessly

2. A normal adult can concentrate on one thing at a time for about 3-5 minutes
