CELLO GALLERY
Whenever I send my students out into the world, whatever their age or experience level, I encourage them always to present themselves with great composure and dignity. Every performance is an act of courage and generosity—the courage to be fearlessly who you are in front of an audience, and the generosity it requires to share your deepest feelings through the music. I never seek to make my students play like me, but to help them find that true voice that is unique to each and every person. Below you can see just a glimpse of my students in action. Whether it’s in a lesson, a rehearsal or a recital, these cellists present themselves with great intensity and intention, presentation and poise.
